Through passion & sheer commitment to their cause Escape Route have emerged from Sydney's rock scene to become one of the country’s most impressive rock acts, Forging together power and melody in a high energy live show!
In mid 2006, Escape Route took first place in the Southern Beaches band comp. In front of an audience more than 600 strong, with more than 40 competitors and 3 high calibre industry judges.
Only a month later, the band’s victory led to a sudden hype throughout the music industry which saw Escape Route requested to perform at the 2006 premiere of the film “The Fast & The Furious 3” in front of celebrities, industry and fans alike. This solidified word throughout the music industry that Escape Route were certain to be the next big thing.
2007 came quickly as desire for Escape Route’s debut release grew. The band teamed up with The Celebrity Network crew, producer & ARIA award nominated engineer of the year Greg Stace & close friend Dave Simon producing and developing their debut double “A”side - “PictureView / A Memory of You!” in Sydney's CN studios. After spending the final quarter of "07" in the rehersal rooms, writing and perfecting their live performance Escape Route are back with a vengence in 2008.
