Biography
Songwriter and producer Eric James signed with A&R heavyweight Pete Ganbarg's Pure Tone Music in 2004, producing multiple EPs and singles through 2008, and seeing extensive tv & film placements and radio play from first single "It's OK" and breakout track "Trust". Creative differences led to a split with Pure Tone prior to completion of a debut full-length in 2009.
After hitting it off while working on an unrelated charity recording project, James collaborated with drummer Mason Ingram to form The Last Royals in 2009. The band's debut single "Crystal Vases" broke on SiriusXM's AltNation in 2010, peaking at #5 and spending 5 months on the AltRock chart. The Last Royals highly acclaimed debut album 'Twistification' released in January 2013 on Ooh La La Records.
