De longe um dos melhores e o mais diferente da banda até hoje! Pessoal que comenta que é um álbum fraco escutou errado, até as acústicas são boas

Now after a year since the release, I would say my Epica album ranking would be: THP > DYU > TQE > TDC > CTO > RFTI > TPA

Goddammit. TQE, I'm sorry to betray you, but after close to a year of listening to this over and over again, I think this one's my favorite one now.

Saw them live on may, it's so amazing how they sound exactly like the album. Voice and instruments. Love Epica!

Edge of the Blade, A Phantasmic Parade, Universal Death Squad, Beyond the Matrix, Ascension - Dream State Armageddon, Dancing in a Hurricane are the best for me

I think is a great album but realy not the best. I like the new way they're taking, the metal band with some symphonic elemental. I mean at the moment they're symphonic part is something that fill the sound, but is not attached as in the past. I think this is a modern way to play this genre, but i prefer the old/mystic symphonic

yea, I must confess: Universal Death Squad had thrilled me, but then Edge of the Blade sort of turned me off. the song is cool, but its chorus is bland and cliché as fuck. so I was afraid of the album being like that and UDS being just an exception. but holy fuck, how I was stupidly wrong. what an amazing album (and I'm just in my second listen in its entirely!)! it's clearly a continuation to TQE and this is fucking great, because TQE was an epic of an album and has since set a high bar for the genre and the band, with a refreshed formula overall, that can still be made use of for a long time.

This album blows The Quantum Enigma out of the fucking water. It's so delicious to hear, I can sense everything and the guitars finally have the space they always deserved instead of being drowned by all the orchestration. It's like the perfect mix of old and new Epica, it's everything I ever wanted ♥ ♥ ♥

Solid album with great songwriting, but I think that TQE has better and and more outstanding tunes. I prefer TQE.

Absolutely fucking amazing. It's easily the second best in their catalog and one of the best Symphonic Metal albums I've ever heard. Great work guys and gal!
