Elvin Friendly is all about energy, insanity and creativity. Four men wearing marching band uniforms and two women dressed in baton twirling costumes mix up a cocktail of punk rock, pop and art music, with a tasty and truly original flavour.
Elvin Friendlys quality is their ability to combine good songs and melodies with the absurd and weird, this being materialized through the bands unique composition of two female and two male vocalists, giving the band a vocal line-up matched by few other bands. Elvin Friendly is ABBAs twisted antithesis; Benny and Björn with acute narcissistic personality disorder, Agnetha and Anni-Frid, psychotic and emotionally unstable; the rest of the orchestra put on Ritalin against acute AD/HD well, there youve got Elvin Friendly right on stage
After the EPs "Girls like us - EP" and "A nice girl called bitch - EP", both released in 2002, the debut record Elvin Goes To Work was released on C & C records 2004. The album created great excitement and the bands concerts gave them a reputation as a very different and intense live band.
Elvin Goes To Works follow-up will be released on Your Favorite Music fall 2006, and the single will be released spring 2006.
