Biography
Elliott Ok is a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who blends heartfelt lyricism with surreal studio production, to illuminate tales of technicolor trailer parks, Korean corner markets, eggplant farms, and all their peculiar characters.
Born and bred in a small hippy town in Central CA, creativity was always a large part of his life, whether it was drawing comic strips in art class, playing Dead Kennedys covers at battle of the bands, or obsessing over the perfect method to cook an egg. After years cutting and sometimes chipping his teeth with various California bands, he set out to express his singular musical vision.
He set up shop in his basement studio and began recording a batch of self-penned songs with occasional help from friends he gathered along the way. And in his downtime he wondered when a decent ramen shop would finally open in town, and quelled his frustration by drawing pictures that will adorn the small digital squares know as album covers.
