Biography
Elizabeth Bryan (born Yvonne Elizabeth Bryan 15th june 1957 Paddington, London) to father Leith George Hudson Bryan and Mother Shirley Elaine Williams, is best known as a Singer/songwriter, Recording/Performing artist, Producer and radio DJ, with her song writing skills singing and performing from childhood. She as lived in London for over 55yrs.
Elizabeth was also in singing, sports an dance from a very early age whist still at school. She started her professional musical career from the late 70's early 80's performing with live bands, but due to unforseen circumstance the bands split up. She was spotted by a producer named Dennis Cross the brother of the late Victor Cross who formed a band called 'Countryboy & The Frontliners. Auditioning with a Phyllis Dillon tune called 'If you Knew' put her at the top to being lead harmonizer to the head of the Group Countryboy…The band played at gigs and Parks recording at various studios live, Dennis wrote a song called 'Pass By Your Gate' for Elizabeth now known as 'Your Lying' to which she performed at vaious venues with the band, last performance at the Royal Victoria Park, Finsbury Park East London, taking the place by storm and creating jealousy in the band with the lead singer. She decided to go solo and start writing more seriously, due to misunderstandings Dennis sister Sandra Cross ended up with the song being produced at ARIWA Studio with Mad Professor this caused a rift in Elizabeth & Dennis Cross friendship.
Fate played its role at the right time as Elizabeth was introduce to a woman called Angela who heard her songs an asked to be her manager being she also knew people in the promotion line. It never took long before Elizabeth was being promoted by Tony Lee a talent scout and Rapheal from 'Fine Cut Promotions' who set up and arranged talent from Colleges around london. Representing Kingsway College East london, Elizabeth found herself winning the eighth heat at the London club Night Moves. That was the best thing that could happen as her career started to move up to bigger things.
1st record release came out on the Ishence Label producer named Jah Dave an adapted tune called 'BLUE MOON' in 1995 on a Gregory Isacc's rhydm track, 2nd in 1997 called 'Good Night My Love' The 3rd single in 2004 on entertainment Label called 'Send A Little Love' writer Elizabeth producer Norman (budgie) Campbell, the 4th 'Jah Be your Guide and 'I Know' also on the Entertainment label. Then 2007 a double Album with Leroy smart on the same label mastered at JET STAR Studio London.
Elizabeth as since worked with some of the bigger named artist namely AJ Franklin from the group 'The ChosenFew' Winston Reedy, Joseph cotton, Winston Francis, Enos McCloud, Bill & Pete Campbell and many other's. Elizabeth is currently managing herself and producing her own Albums after launching her own label Neterteri productions in 2010. Suffering the traggic death of her eldest daughter at the age of 35 Sept 2011 as left her with the feeling of writers block as she tries to come to terms with the feeling of emptyness, shock an grief. Her words are she will never give up music as its her life for over 30yrs and her daughter would want her to carry on even for her grand children left behind.
