Biography
Electrobro is the alias of electronic musician and producer, Adam Wirdzek. Born December 2, 1988 in Arlington, Virginia. He is currently attending Virginia Tech and is pursuing a degree in Political Science as well as seeking minors in both Sociology and Music Technology. He claims that his passions are broad, but music is his favorite mode of human expression. Currently, he is producing a full-length LP to be released independently sometime in February.
Wirdzek is training at the Blue Ridge School of Massage and Yoga to become certified in Massage Therapy and has stated a want to pursue a certification in yoga instruction as well.
As Electrobro, Wirdzek has released numerous tracks on his Soundcloud since December 2010 and released a free EP entitled, "You Can Swim". As well as having experience working with electronic music, Wirdzek wrote and recorded what he dubbed as "experimental hip-hop" under the alias, "A Play on Wirdz". Wirdzek spent his time in high school providing vocals and playing bass for the indie/lounge rock band, "The Newloves" where he produced both of the band's full LPs, "Sailway" and "Dual".
Wirdzek claims to have little professional vocal training outside of spending 6 years in middle school and high school choir and a brief stay with the Virginia Tech concert choir. Along with vocals and bass, he does percussion, drums, guitar and claims to have some piano knowledge.
