Elandré Schwartz, also known as 'Elandré' (born August 28, 1995 in Despatch, Eastern Cape) is a South African musician. As a 19-year-old he studied at the Waterfront Theater School in Cape Town. He became famous after posting a video on social media where he sang Bruce Springsteen's "Tougher than the Rest". The video had more than 100,000 overnight views, after which he was invited to sing on Bok Radio's breakfast show and was offered a record contract by Select Music during that interview. His debut album 'Kleindorpdromer' was released in 2017. His second album, 'Boomhuis', was released in 2019.
