Biography
Eirik Myhr (born 1982) is a Norwegian composer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, primarily known for his work in film, tv and stage productions. He has composed the score for award winning feature films RAFIKI ("Bestevenner") and THE TOUGH GUYS ("De Tøffeste Gutta"), scored several theatre pieces including two full-length plays based on Henrik Ibsen's PEER GYNT, popular Norwegian tv shows such as TANGERUDBAKKEN BORETTSLAG, and much more. He also had a starring role in the Norwegian children’s tv series JUBALONG in 2007-2008, where he visited children and helped them write their own songs. Eirik Myhr is also a singer/songwriter in the experimental pop department, and released the album ESCAPADES in 2011.
Myhr owns the small record label PLING KONG RECORDINGS, releasing both his film score albums and various other projects.
