A quick review of Boudet Arcade:
Boudet Arcade draws lines between a number of disparate musical elements; the band uses frantic drum programming and synth lines to underpin heavy, dramatic rock, but frequently backs off into gentle, dreamy, indie-rock guitar interplay, while the group's well-constructed vocal harmonies have the anthemic quality of an emo band. The result is absolutely stunning, seamlessly combining all of these elements into a big, dramatic rock record that's appealing even when it falters (which is not often) – amazingly, the album lives up to all of its most ambitious aims, asking to be taken very seriously and backing that up with a series of tracks that are as inventive as they are compelling. ~ Nitsuh Abebe, All Music Guide
