Dungeon Fellaz is an American hip hop duo from Austin, Texas. The group consists of Van Pfeiffer and Paintdot, who are both primarily multi-instrumentalists and vocalists.
The duo formed and released their eponymous debut album in 2018 to critical acclaim. Critics and audiences reacted positively to the group's diverse flows and lyrics scattered throughout the project. It featured appearances by fellow musicians King Vitaman & ROBO GALAXY KEJAN.
The group's sophomore effort, Insanity Of The 3rd Degree, was released on November 16, 2019. It was a small departure from their previous album due to the different kinds of genres and sounds present, including hard rock, screamo, heavy metal, classical, emo, and even some acapella. Pfeiffer contributed electric and acoustic guitar to many of the album's tracks. It mainly received positive reception overall, with many critics calling it an improvement over the band's debut.
Shortly after the release of Insanity, the duo had quietly started working on a new album. After much speculation and delay, the group released their third effort, Duo, on March 9, 2022. It was proceeded by the singles "Fuck You Dummy Idiot" and "Campfire Level 99". It received positive reviews from audiences.
