Biography
David Velasquez and Cameron Martin, longtime friends, began writing together in late 2009. Although both fronted other bands, they decided to make their collaboration permanent after several weeks of successful writing sessions. Catching local musician's ears, the two were soon accompanied by a rotating backing band of up to six players. Hard working and focused, David and Cameron have a penchant for writing meaningful songs while maintaining a pop sensibility.
Doublespeak is currently working on an EP and looking for label support. They have worked with professionals such as Ferret Records, Corey Spotts, Dave Nichols, Dan Tomlinson, Ray Riendeau, Jefrey Taylor, and Roger Seibel.
