Biography
Dodging Daylight hails from the city of Vancouver, BC. This band is best described as metal with hardcore and hard rock roots. The band was put together by guitarist Lanning Kann who is from New York City, NY in 2010 and released it's first album, an EP entitled "For Your Health", which was named after Lanning's and singer Colby Miller's love for the short comedy skits of actor John C Reilly's character Dr. Steve Brule. The band's main musical theme is a heavy groove orientated sound with well constructed yet predictable songs. Dodging Daylight will be touring in support of their EP in late summer 2011 through winter of 2012. A follow up full length album will be released shortly after.
