I mean, a lot of people call it hip-hop. They just think grime is a subgenre of hip-hop cause they're ignorant and wouldn't do as much as a quick google search.

Boy In Da Corner is definitely an important album and one of the best in grime, but Dizzee never really had another truly good album, let alone a great one

If you only like his grime stuff that's understandable, but he never stopped doing grime. He just happens to also do pop now so his grime stuff is less frequent. There is really no need to complain about him "selling out" though just because he now does pop music. Musicians tend to dabble with more than one type of music. He still bangs out great grime tracks like Pagans and Couple of Stacks...
