Biography
Disorder By Design is a metal band out of Boston, MA formed in January of 2003, when Derek Turcogeorge (bass), Mike Palmer (guitar) and Steve Siotas (drums), the founding members of the band, went looking for someone to front their new project. After a few auditions they found vocalist Nick Giuffrida. The line up clicked and they quickly began to write songs.
After recording a demo six months later, they set out to begin playing shows in New England. Continuous improvements in their playing, songwriting, and performing earned them a rapidly growing fan base in the New England area. The band has since gone on to open for a list of national artists including Dope, Motograter, Unearth, Five Bolt Main, Mushroomhead and Hell Within.
In the fall of 2005, the band released its first full-length album Blood Enemy
In the spring of 2006, Mike Palmer decided to leave the band to pursue other interests. Since Derek's primary instrument is the guitar, he returned to his original instrument and Terence McCarron joined the band on bass.
2009 brings a new era to Disorder by Design. With the departure of founding member Derek Turcogeorge, the band decided to take its other project, then known as Vaporizer, and continue on in the DBD name. With the addition of guitarist Dana Rzasa and keyboardist Sean Zarella the band is again complete and recording a follow up to it's first album, Blood Enemy.
