Biography

Dig! Dig! Dig! (the exclamation marks were part of the name) came from south Oxfordshire and built up a big local following in Oxon and Berkshire in the late 1970s and early 1980s, releasing one single (625 Lines, Our Money and Little Red Book) and tracks on a Reading based cassette label - X Cassettes which was favorably reviewed in Sounds and NME. They sounded like a cross between Gang of Four and Stiff Little Fingers - post-punk punk rock.
