Biography
In the 2 minutes I spoke with Didactic in a small smoky bar in downtown Asheville, NC, I learned he has been making electronic music for less than one year.
He performed using a sampler, a beat-up and bulky Yamaha piano, a Fender strat and an old Mac laptop. He created loops on the fly and worked them up into easy-grooving beats that had the whole place nodding their heads. He would solo over his grooves on his keyboard and guitar, quite impressive.
He sounded like something on XM Chill, or perhaps like independent hip-hop tracks with no MC.
We hope he continues working on his music!
