Devil's Slingshot is an instrumental rock group consisting of Tony MacAlpine (guitar and keyboard), Billy Sheehan (bass) and Virgil Donati (drums).
After working together in various projects including Steve Vai's backing band and Planet X with keyboardist Derek Sherinian, the trio of virtuoso musicians banded together for the 'Devil's Slingshot Tour 2006' playing select dates in fall of 2006. Approximately one year later the trio embarked on a second tour, the 'Devil's Slingshot Tour 2007', which coincided with the release of the debut album "Clinophobia".
