Der Sandmann is an electronic music project inspired by gothic romanticism, in particular by the German author ETA Hoffmann. Der Sandmann is a project of two very different musicians with very different backgrounds.
Ender is the main force behind the lyrics. Lyrics about religion, mysticism, technology and the small place that one occupies in the grater scheme of things.
Ludwig auf der Flucht ist the main musical drive behind Der Sandmann. He is responsible for most of the programming witch ranges from industrial noise to extreme breakbeat, minimal and house. Der Sandmann intentionally chose to sing in German since it is the language that best suits its twisted style of music.
