Biography
Deinkarnation was formed in the fall of 2005 by four young aspiring students in the far north of Haparanda, Sweden. At the time the musical aim was set on a dynamic sound and large soundscapes. During this period the band consisted of Kim Bjäle on drums, Juha Silventoinen and Torsten Gabrielsson on guitar and Erik Möllervärn on bass. Eriks brother Olle later joined the band on the mic and the line-up was complete. We recorded a 4 track demo, which unfortunately was lost because of a harddrive-crash in the studio, however, one can still be acquainted with some of the songs during our shows. Shortly after the recording of the demo, the band took a breather, mainly because of the fact that school and it´s obligations were over, resulting in the band parting ways for more than a year.
Which leads us to the fall of 2007, a year of rebirth for the band. Faith has now led the coremembers to the same forsaken city of Piteå, with the exception for the drummer. Kim earlier moved to live in Stockholm, leaving us with the search for a new drummer - Enter Emil Särelind, a funky young lad with taste for good music, fine wine and drumming. So we began rehearsing as hell and just after a month or so we recorded a 2-track demo which is available on both CD and on myspace.com.
As time evolves, so does the sound of Deinkarnation. Listeners can now expect a more mature sound as we strive for delivering depth, and filling any stage we might conquer, with pure intensity.
Recently we have also welcomed our sixth member, Rasmus Persson, who will add the element of soundscapes and soundeffects to our songs, thus taking the songs to another level.
What awaits in 2008 only time will tell, however, it will be the year of Deinkarnation, rest assured…
