Biography
Dearworld is an electro-rock quartet originally from Oss, The Netherlands. The band recently thundered into the Dutch music scene. Armed with a dream, a goal and an infectious set of original songs, the band’s main goal is to inspire every member of their audience to dance, and dance hard.
The music of Dearworld lies somewhere between uplifting electro-house and rock. Their influences include Soulwax, Radiohead, Muse and Depeche Mode. Live, they guarantee an intense, raw show, colored by an unusual mix of musical media comprised of analog synthesizers, heavy house beats, and soaring, haunting vocals.
The potency of Dearworld has not gone unnoticed. In their short existence, Dearworld has already proven their success in performances at 3FM, Scathing show at Solar Festival, Paaspop, Zwarte Cross, Melkweg, FestyLand and Paradiso. Dearworld also played as support act for major bands as Kaiser Chiefs and Vive La Fête (BE).
