Biography
David Tolley is a composer and pianist, even so mostly known as pianist with numerous album releases to his credit.
His work as composer includes the original background music played in Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris.
David Tolley graduated from Worthington High School and Fort Hayes Performing Arts School, before attending Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition, a degree in Piano Performance and a Master of Music degree in Composition.
His carreer jump started on December 19, 1985, when he was in the audience of the "Tonight Show" of Johnny Carson and volunteered to perform as Johnny Carson asked "Horatio Gutierrez couldn't come tonight because he accidentally shut his hand in a car door and didn't want to chance playing the Tonight Show. Can anybody here play the piano?"
