Tony Mugavero and Geoff Haselgrove came together in a small suburban town just outside Dallas, TX. After borrowing belt-drive turntables from their parents and getting a basic 4-channel Radio Shack mixer, they started spinning records, collecting equipment, and writing their own music. Their first record came out under the moniker Liquid Pulse on Illmatic Records, which was followed by releases on Sony (Malaysia), Tao Recordings, Lobotomy Records, Renaissance, System, Domestic, Xlantic, Diffusion, and 10th Planet. They have produced remixes for The Commodores (Universal / Motown / WishFM), The New Line Cinema Film 'Domino'(Domestic / WishFM / King Solomon), Talvin Singh (Boom the film, India), Iris, Reflection Theory, and Triprocket, and have had remixes done by Habersham, Chris and Kai, DJ Merritt, and Trifactor. Their productions have received support from Danny Tenaglia, Martin Villeneuve (MV), James Zabiela, DFuse, John Debo, Smight, Kazell, Palash, Mark Pappas, Low End Specialists, Kosmas Epsilon, Kreice, and many others. They recently partnered with Involved Events and Lobotomy Records for a special release with all proceeds benefiting Involved for UNICEF, and continually contribute to charities through music and events.
They were also half of the production group Quadsquad that had the massive track "Reach" (Tao Recordings) appearing on James Zabiela's Renaissance compilation "Alive", as well as Palash's compilation "One". That track, which enjoyed extended chart success on Balance, was also selected for the upcoming Bulletproof Productions film 'Loaded'. This film also includes a Datguy production "Spicy", as well as two scenes scored by Geoff and Tony for Bulletproof Productions. Other projects include music for commercials (Covad / Match.com), video games (In The Groove), websites, radio promotions, and dance theater, with a movie score coming up for Global Vision's next film 'The Skinner Box'. They have also performed live, held residencies, and played countless events across the US, and currently contribute to the global clubbing website Resident Advisor.
