It all started in 2007, when Gatis composed music for his band, 'As Lights Fade', while he also created some little musical projects with dark wave and EBM sound. When 'As Lights Fade' failed ,Gatis focused on his EBM projects, and so, Dark Nexus was formed in 27.05.2009. Later on the band was joined by Dainis to reinforce Dark Nexus with guitar sounds and Arturs, helping the band out on stage by programming music live.
