Civil name: Tamás Ambrus. He was born on the 16th of October, in 1979, in Debrecen. Today DJ Julian doesn't need to be introduced. During the past couple of years he has performed at almost every club and party in Hungary. Julian began his career the same way as thousands of other self-appointed dj candidates did all over the world. First he was collecting cd-s, bakelite discs, and was watching the djs' work at school parties and clubs. As his discs were piling up, he bought his first record players and started to practice 5-6 hours a day.
1998
The long years of practicing and waiting produced good results: he became a resident dj at Lost World, in Gyöngyös, which was one of the biggest clubs in Hungary that time. Here his talent got the attention of Dan Von Schulz, DJ Junior and DJ Newl, who started to help develop his career, and with whom he remained very good friends.
1999
He starts his own two-hour-long show on Heves county's biggest radio station.
2000
His first record "Inside your mind" comes out. Julian was the first dj and this was the first record in the country that didn't come from the capital. Julian's talent was reflected the best way when he was voted by several top-djs for being the best new dj of the year in the Hungarian music magazine, Freee.
2001
Thanks to a Hungarian club manager, in 2001 he got several opportunities to perform at Flört in Siófok, which is the best club with the greatest history in our country.
2002
He gets his residence at Club Arsenal, Nyíregyháza, one of the oldest clubs in Eastern Hungary. This year he gets his still remaining party-residence at the biggest modern club, the Highlander in Sárospatak. Since then he has performed along with some world-famous djs, such as Cristian Varela, Monika Kruse, Westbam, Cave, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, etc.
2003
Julian's second record comes out, called "Get In Space". This record has already brought him a lot of success,.Due to the disc, he has got many invitations to foreign countries, such as Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine.
2004
He signs for Gold Fm, the biggest radio station in Eastern Hungary, where his show called "Everlasting On Friday" is one of the most popular radio shows, where besides the top djs of Hungary, several foreigner djs have turned up as guests, such as Brenda Russel, Paul Mac, etc. He makes the cd of Sosto Fiesta, which is one of the biggest summer festivals int he country, and that year they introduce the dj-stage for 15000 people at the festival. Julian is the first dj in the country who is requested by the biggest Hungarian TV channel, RTL Klub to perform on their big stage and on their truck at Budapest Parádé.He gets the invitation for the biggest party in Hungary, called Budapest Parádé Bonus, where he performs along with djs like Rush, Monika Kurse, Anthony Rother, Superchumbo, etc.
2005
His forth album, "Above All Ep" is in the stores. The record gets on the lists of many world-famous djs, due to the international distribution.
2006
Julian fulfils many invitations abroad: he plays at Summer Of Love, the biggest festival of Slovakia, as well as in several Slovakian clubs, in Romania, and he is the first Hungarian who performs at one of the most famous clubs in London, called Colosseum, which for many years was voted for being the club of the year in the UK.. He makes his next record, "Techno Play" that appears on many albums, such as the Budapest Parádé 2006 album. Julian starts his two-hour-long show, called "Metrosokk" on Retro Fm, the newest and biggest radio station of the eastern part of Hungary.
2007
Julian's fifth album, "Funky Groove" spreads through all over the country and gets on the charts of many radio stations. It is used by djs like Newl, Dejan Milisevic, Veztax, etc.
He is a regular performer of the best clubs, parties and music events of Hungary.
