Band formed in 2004 in Mexico City. Their name comes from the famous poem "Un Voyage à Cythère" in Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal. Cyteres are: Laura (vocalist), Paco (bassist), Mario (guitarist) and Fabien (drummer). All four have been involved in other independent Mexican bands (Maldoror, Moebius, Sarcoma de Kaposi, and Flor Nocturna, respectively).
