Inspired as much by the likes of Throbbing Gristle and early Swans as the punk bands that preceded them they combined rudimentary sampling, lumbering bass, amplifier feedback and garrotted vocals into their singularly bleak, dissaffected and dystopian view of Thatcher’s England.
