Biography
Born in 1983, Elijah, also known as Cyber83, began his musical journey as a drummer in Southport, North Carolina. He played for multiple bands throughout his career. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force.
In 2017, under the name Elijah DJ, he released his first single, "Rhythm Bounce." Later, he changed his music project name to Cyber83, focusing on the Retro and Synthwave sub-genres. Cyber83 has released tracks on platforms such as Bandcamp, iTunes, and Spotify. He released two singles as Elijah DJ before changing his name. After the change, his first single was "Without You," a synthwave version of Foreigner's song "I Don't Want to Live Without You," available on Bandcamp and other major streaming platforms.
Cyber83 has played at various venues and concerts, including the Battle of the Bands at the United States Forces-Iraq Joint Operation Center, held on June 3, 2010, at Victory Base Complex, Baghdad. He also performed at the World Beat Festival in Salem, Oregon, in June 2023.
Cyber83 is set to release a full album in 2024, but in the meantime, he continues to release individual tracks.
