Shane 54 (Császár Előd) is a dance music producer and DJ based in Budapest.
He caused a car accident driving at around 100 km/h in Budapest on 17 December 1998, killing a 25-year-old police lieutenant. The jury declared that he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the accident, but reprimanded him for drug abuse. He was sentenced to 1 year, 6 months of imprisonment suspended to 3 years. It also turned out that after the accident he tried to cheat with his insurance to get money for his ruined car. This resulted in public uproar and temporarily held back his career in Hungary.
