1. Cryptic Forest is a black metal band from Germany, featuring a few members of Finsterforst. Their debut album "Ystyr" was released in 2013.
2. Cryptic Forest was founded by Mordreth (René Mailaender) as a Black/Viking/Folk Metalband on 28-09-2007. Just one day later, bassist and vocalist Thursal joined the band.
