Biography
*Controllar* is an Experimental Pop/Rock duo based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Formed in 2007, the band consists of Anat Spiegel (IS), vocals and Thomas Myrmel (USA), electronics. Both members of *Controllar* have thorough experience in creating and performing new music and cross platform projects throughout Europe. (For full bio's, please see myspace.com/controllar) The combination of their versatile backgrounds (jazz, classical music and avant garde) and their ever growing commitment to the contemporary, creates a unique blend of sound ranging from emotional melodies to complex forms, always pushing the borders of popular music. Both musicians have a bachelor's degree in music performance from the Amsterdam Conservatory, as well as a bachelor's degree in Composition.
