Biography
1) Contrails (Vienna, AT) release their second album, 'Mania', December 12th via Cloud Contact Records on CD in a very limited hand numbered edition of 200 pieces which come in lovely gate fold cardboard packaging. The album will also be available digitally on iTunes, Bandcamp and through BitTorrent Bundle.
All songs on ‚Mania‘ were written and produced by Contrails, with Stefan Sieder on vocals and most of the instruments like guitar, bass and synths. David Jäckle and Martin Konvicka played some of the guitar parts and Marie Treipl contributed with her violin. The album was mixed and mastered by Will Benoit at 'The Radar Studio' (Clinton, Connecticut).
Contrails started playing live shows in 2012 and released their first album „All That Glows“ in the same year. Besides playing at venues in different countries, Contrails were also part of the line-up at festivals in Austria and supported Warpaint in Budapest.
Over the years, the band had 16 different members for studio recordings and up to eight people live on stage.
