Biography
Conemelt was Ashley Marlowe, Nathaniel Mellors & Grant Newman. Active in Tonbridge, Kent from 1993 - 1999. Releases on Sabres of Paradise, Emissions Audio Output, iLL recordings (PIAS), and Marlowe's own New Ground Records.
The trio also recorded under the names: Leg Action (Marlowe / Mellors), Floating Bloke (Marlowe / Mellors), The Cartridge Family (with Chris Baker), The Faderflippers (with Chris Baker), The Secret Order, The Goodlover Brothers (Marlowe / Newman / Baker). Ashley Marlowe also released solo material as 'Panash', 'Kid Acid' and under his own name.
Ashley Marlowe now runs Well Rounded Records (releases in the UK funky genre continue to display the influence of Chicago house and Detroit techno). He produces and DJ's as Donga and Ultrasound.
