2) "Anderson's brilliance and originality as a solo performer have graced audiences in the United States, Europe, and South America since the early 1970s. After graduating from the University of Michigan with honors and participating in the world premiere of Leonard Bernstein's "Mass," Anderson went to Italy on a Fulbright scholarship and remained there for several years, playing principal flute in the Orchestra del Teatro Massimo in Palermo. Since her return to the United States, she has toured many states as a recitalist as well as a guest artist and clinician for state and regional flute festivals."
