I wonder when the third album is coming with Christian Älvestam, or even an EP? This band really has taken it's time with every release and if there ever is that third album then every album will have had a different vocalist.

@chaosinveterate: whats the point being on nuclear blast when the label doesnt care about the band? only because they are on NB it doesnt mean they are big. except for a little promo around the release date it doesnt really seem like the label puts a whole lot of effort in promoting CS anymore which is a shame...so yeah, they are greatly underrated.

agree with below; it's not very original but it does what it does well, and improves on some of the inconsistencies of CT8.

new album is neither groundbreaking nor inventive, but it totally delivers. one of the most enjoyable melodic death releases i heard for quite some time.

The new album starts in a lacklustre manner but quickly picks up. More of the "classic" style seems to reappear. Considering it has been 7 years, I thought the style wasn't as hugely different as I thought it would be. I didn't think it was as good as Central Tunnel Eight but I suspect CtS will grow on me. I'm glad it's not just me that missed out on the bonus track either. Idiots.

No, it's an excellent disc. Nuclear Blast should be ashamed that not only the bonus track is missing from the CD, but is being offered for download in shitty MP3 format. It should be available in FLAC if they aren't willing to send out replacement discs. Pathetic.
