It begins with a verse in a hip "urban" club style before abruptly (and rather amusingly for those old enough to know it) turning into an updated dance version of the old country ballad "Oh My Darling Clementine", somewhat reminiscent of "Cotton Eye Joe". According to Songfacts.com, "Swagger Jagger" is not a Jack Swagger or a The Rolling Stones reference, but a term used for people who put you down.

Cher Lloyd (born 28 July 1993) is an English singer and rapper from Malvern, Worcestershire who rose to fame from her part in the reality TV series The X Factor. After the final of The X Factor it was announced that Lloyd had been signed by Syco Music. Songwriter Autumn Rowe and producer RedOne worked on her debut album, scheduled for release in November 2011.
