cheekbones rose from the ashes of the kalamazoo, MI band The mustache movement as an experimental noise project with the intention of being inclusive to absolutely anyone who wanted to record with the band's founder Clay Emrick.
Cheekbones blends quirky electronics with rewired keyboards, typewriter percussion, and a vast array of stringed instruments and audible noises accompanied by haunting female vocals.
