Charles Stuart is a singer-songwriter from London, of Dominican heritage. He is also a member of the band Snorkel. He mixes smooth soul vocals, reggae, dub, drum and bass, jazz and electronica with shadowy, witty, urban lyrics. His quirky, inventive debut album is called The Man Who Likes Watching. The title was given to him by Gene Hackman in a dream. The record was released on Slowfoot Records in May 2007.
