Chaozz is the pioneer of Czech rap. Originally formed in Prague in 1995 as a mergeaof two groups sharing the same vision - Flavamatic (Deph & Fugaz since 1994) and a fraction of UNIT (Bass, Rusty, DJ SMOG). The remaining members of the former UNIT (Skupla and rapper Dědek ) founded an act '6 Polnic' (Skupla and Dědek). Chaozz (Bass with Rusty invited DJ Smog) began doing dates with Flavamatic resulting in another merge in 1995. Because of successful Deph's promotional work, Chaozz won a contract with Polygram, beating other successful Prague groups like WWW. In 2002, after 4 albums, the group took a break for unknown time. Rusty and Fugaz finished their careers, but Deph and Skupla recruited their old friend Dědek and began a group Prago Union and Bass (under name Ba2S) is also still active.
Members:
Rusty - Real name Chorché Cartagena, main job in group - rap.
Deph - Real name Robert Cosmotheoros Sozé. Being a group frontman, he not only raps, but writes lyrics, makes beats and sometimes plays percussion. Now under the name Kato, he is a member of the group Prago Union.
Fugaz - Real name Chandre Jus'. Raps.
Bass - Real name Jasan Sović. He is the group's producer, also raps and beatboxes. He now performs shows in Prague's clubs under the name DJ Ba2S
Skupla - Current group's DJ. Real name is Jean D'Artaghnan. He's the human beatbox of the group, and makes back-up vocals. Now he's a DJ in the group Prago Union, which he formed with Deph.
Smog - Former group DJ (until 1997). Now works with the group Syndrom Snopp.
Rychlik - Real name Ferdinand Rozteklík, he's the group mascot.
