Born 1989 in Philadelphia or South Philly to be exact, Regis D. Howard or "Cayoz" as he is known by began life as the youngest of three children to Richard and Louisa Howard. At the age of two him and his family moved to Okinowa Japan were they would live for nearly two years. In 1994 During the last days of his forth year of life his family moved back to the states where he remembered meeting (Grandma Howard) or his fathers mom for the 1st time. After a brief stay they would move to the west coast where they would take up residency in Oceanside California wich is his current residence till this day. One year later in 1995 Cayoz would recall meeting (Grandma Brown) or his mothers mom. He immediately formed a bond with her but that bond was cut short in the year 1997 when she would sucome to cancer. In one of his songs titled "My Story" he describes being at her funeral and her laying in a casket right before his eyes and how hard it was moving on after her passing. About five or six years would pass and Cayoz would be in eight grade were he would meet longtime collaborator and former (STILL FRESH) group member Joseph "C.T.K" Robinson. Apon their leaving Jefferson Middle School and enrolling in Oceanside High School Cayoz would begin his rap career. One night while listening to "Thuggish Ruggish Bone" by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Regis began to think "I can do that…I can rap just as well as them". So he began writing lyrics an perfecting his craft and what had started out as "Knowing how to rap is nothing special" turned into "I cant live without Rap". One day during a convorsation with C.T.K the two future MC's revealed to eachother that the both could rap and thus created the group "Elements of Mass Destruction" and recorded the track called "Unknown". The group only lasted a couple of months then the name was changed with the arrival of Brian "Truth-C" Leadercharge an indian MC from South Dakota. Truth-C and C.T.K would form "Foul Play" wich Cayoz was never really a member of but still collaborated with. Eventually the group would also fall apart for a couple of months until C.T.K would discover talent within friend Edward Crumpton. Cayoz, C.T.K and Edward would form "Liberal Artz" wich would last longer than the two previous groups. Then with the arrival of Derek better known as "Dark Syder" a group known as "The New Breedz" would emerge. From there Liberal Artz would stumble upon many new artists but with the departure of all but the two founding members Cayoz & C.T.K Liberal Artz would be laid to rest and like the story of the Pheonix "STILL FRESH" would rise from the ashes. Both members would start on solo projects and Cayoz would begin putting together "The Heart of the City Mixtape". However the the Powerhouse duo would crank out hit after hit every now and then before calling for a break in the year of 2006. The two MC's would keep in touch as they did their solo thing. Apon the completion of "The Heart of the City Mixtape", Cayoz would join up with producer/MC Ideology and MC Young Fatal to form "Punchline Productionz". and Begin work on his second Mixtape "The East 2 West Mixtape" which garnered him more attention than the First. After the completion of his 2nd mixtape in 2007 Cayoz decided to take a break from the music. Then in 2008 while he and his STILL FRESH group member sat in his room then decided to do a song that would become known as "We Got Now". Reactions to the song were so great that they decided to da a mixtape together called "The Heirs To The Throne Mixtape". Which was recorded in over a span of 4days. The success of the mixtape only increased the hype around him. Later that year Cayoz would decided to record a long thought about album about his personal trials and tribulation. The majority of the production was handled by him with the exception of 2 tracks which were produced by a collaborator of his who goes by the name "Mind Benda/The Beat Pro". It was highly acclaimed due to its soulful production and vivid lyricism. The year is now 2009 and after the recent release of another Solo Mixtape "Mixed Vibes The Mixtape". Him and CTK are gearing up for another STILL FRESH mixtape release "Word On Da Streetz" which promises to be some of his best work to date.
