1 - Caught in the Act are a Dutch-English boy band formed in 1992 by record producer Cees van Leeuwen. The group initially featured Lee Baxter and Benjamin Boyce from England, along with Eloy de Jong and Bastiaan Ragas from the Netherlands. They gained popularity in Germany, releasing their debut album "Caught in the Act of Love" in 1995. The band had several hit singles, including "Love Is Everywhere" and "My Arms Keep Missing You." Their second album, "Forever Friends," was released in 1996, followed by "Vibe" in 1997.
In 1998, they released a greatest hits album, "We Belong Together: 6 Years of Success," before disbanding. The band sold over 15 million records during their active years. Their final studio album, "Solo 4 C.I.T.A.," was released post-breakup, featuring solo tracks from each band member.
Following the breakup, Benjamin Boyce released solo albums and singles, including "Benjamin Boyce" and collaborations with 2-4 Family. Bastiaan Ragas also pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as "Zin" and becoming a noted actor in musical theater.
