Biography
Cats On Earth is the pet project of Chris Oldaker, an independent producer from San Francisco, CA. His debut album "Mama Told Me To Pimp Hard (And I Wont Let Her Down)" was released in 1999 to mass internet hysteria. Since then he has released a handful of records and EPs on the completely ficticuous Mad Scientist Recordings and the net-label Binkcrsh, remixed artists the likes of Bjork, Public Enemy and Aphex Twin (all completely legit, of course), been turned down by such brilliant labels as Warp Records and Planet-Mu and been almost signed by the likes of Ninja Tune, Law & Auder and Tigerbeat6.
Chris continues to create music under various alias' that go almost completely unnoticed by the world at large, thanks in part to the fabulous promotional work by his friends, family and the netizens of a handful of online forums.
Chris now runs an independent electronic music blog/collective - www.gravityhalo.blogspot.com - along with a talented group of like-minded artists.
