Music for girls who are bored of “diet grrl” and the diluted “female rock” floating around the musical landscape as of late – Cat Venom keep with the punk ideals of old; take something, fuck it up, deliver it without caring who cares.
In this case, taking the gothic elements (nee: personal loves) of Bauhaus and The Cure but melding it with shades of Robots In Disguise and the devil-may-care attitudes of strong female artists of a bygone age – Lydia Lunch, Exene Cervenka and Siouxie Sioux etc…
