Biography
Starting as high school friends playing music together, Cassette Tape is a young and fresh alternative pop band (so to speak) that has been around since they were 16 years old. The band released their debut EP ‘Here’s Something You Might Wanna Listen’ in 2020 to great reception, rewarding them a strong base of listeners and opportunities to play in an uncountable number of shows.
After a short hiatus and change in formation, Cassette Tape returns with singles ‘counting chances’ and the more recent ‘Mr. Streetboy’, offering a more mature perspective on the whole romantic shebang the trio has been known to speak about, in addition to Sarah Azka perfectly coloring their new direction. Cassette Tape is in the midst of releasing their second EP, ‘Records 2 Relate 2’ which the band believes to be one of, if not the greatest, representation of nowadays gen-z phenomena and pop-of-the-sidelines. Cassette Tape is Sarah Azka (vocals), Joe Pramudio (guitars), and Farrel Cahyono (bass).
