Carboon (1977 - 2000) were a Dutch folk-group from Maastricht in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands. The band evolved and co-existed alongside the band members' earlier group, the English language singing and internationally known, The Walkers (1963 - 1989). However, unlike The Walkers, Carboon sung exclusively in Limburgish, the dialect of Limburg.
