Carbon 7 is an improvisational trio from Austin Texas. Formed in the spring of 2011 by long-time Austin veterans Dennis Bruhn on drums, Ron Tindle on keyboards and Chris Vreeland on bass. All their music is composed on the spot. They occasionally discuss a key or a tempo, but the material is otherwise unscripted, unrehearsed, and devoid of all expectation as to its content when playing commences.
