A stimulating merge of classic hip hop beats with fresh lyrical content have finally connected to form the new innovative group, By Tha Roots. What appears to be merely three juvenile teenagers, these boys have gone on to prove themselves to be young, dynamic individuals with an innate feel for music. The core of By Tha Roots consists of members Justin Lax, Fabian Sandoval, and Danny Santos who have come together to focus on one clear objection: Make good music. They also have worked in collaboration with producer Baby Boss to construct great lyrics, intros and chorus’s. Their motivation to make music was brought to life by the reality and hardships that they have all come out of. Coming from broken homes and working class families, they have discovered a musical way out, an escape from their current worlds. They are aware that their situations and feelings are shared amongst themselves and others which is why they strive to make music with a positive standpoint. Their premises is simple: Feel good music for everyone to listen to, enjoy and most importantly, connect with. Enough of the guns, the drugs, and the negative stereotype of rap. They endeavor to make “feel good music” which will appeal to a broad audience. They strive to promote a more optimistic message and be more than “just another catchy phrase.” They want people to come together to forget the negative aspects of life and concentrate on the positives that life has to offer.
