3) New-Wave/Spoken Word two-piece from Adelaide, Australia. Formed in 2005, featuring Snack Seyfang and Kris Hocking.
4) Boys of Summer is a five piece band from Asheville, NC.
They have played many venues in Asheville, as well as several out-of-town shows in North Carolina and Tennessee. Boys of Summer break the expected band set-up by including trumpet, banjo, xylophone and accordion in their songwriting and live shows. The sound is melodic and beautiful, tranquil but intricate. The song structures range from traditional to unconventional, with intimate moments that build to overwhelming instrumental movements. The songs have up-front vocals, and are heavy on melodies and harmonies, while maintaining an intelligent, engaging instrumental background.
