The reissue cover is the exact same art, but without the super saturated colors that makes your eyes hurt. So a lot better! The only bad thing is the band logo and album title decentralized

Nah, reissue looks too hazy to me. I'm not bothered by the burst of colors on the one I put. Main issue is the logo and title with the obese ass band name, needs to lose some weight.

Personally I was unimpressed with the sonic content of the '07 remasters, apart from featuring a louder mix. Wondering if the recent Nuclear Blast reissue features any improvement on this matter.

More so than any other album in my collection, this one wants to be listened to LOUD. With low volumes, the rhythm guitars sound ethereal and get lost together with the bass. Also, at loud volumes, the guitar leads and Hansi's vocals obviously have even more power. From that perspective, the interludes don't really interfere with the experience, but set the pace nicely. BG's best album.

Overrated imho :) it is a great album but... BG have better albums! (let the hate on me pour now)!

"this is just ordinary mediocre daddy-metal" - Please, elaborate. I haven't even heard enough "ordinary" daddy-metal, let alone other mediocre daddy-metal, to have any reference point whatsoever. Could you recommend a few non-mediocre "daddy metal" records? It would be much appreciated.
