Biography
Perhaps the best way to describe the conception of this project is that chiptunes make me happy. It is a joyous sound to my ears and I enjoy creating music with a certain inherent weightlessness (not to say I haven't heard chips that could crush a city), not necessarily bound by such concepts as themes, lyrics, or any particular sense of reason. There is an enjoyable freedom that comes from the acceptance of using none, some, or all of these things in whatever way the artist sees fit, and while this freedom can find its home in any particular genre of music, the anachronistic bundle of love-driven nostalgia that we call "chiptune" feels the most deliciously carefree to me.
If you want to use my chiptunes in anything, feel free, though proper credit (and possibly a link) is greatly appreciated.
